Alamance-Burlington School System is the 15th-largest public school district in North Carolina, serving nearly 23,000 students in grades Pre-K through 12th. ABSS offers exceptional educational opportunities for students, including career and technical education, international baccalaureate, pre-collegiate academies, early college, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our elementary schools include programs such as Leader in Me, Capturing Kids Hearts, STEAM (STEM plus the Arts), and Global Learning. There are many career opportunities within ABSS. With 37 schools, there’s an opportunity for everyone to find their place. We are proud of the achievements we’ve made and the ambitions we have to continue improving public education. Although the work is extensive, no job is too small to make it count.
