While its shares were listed on the Dubai Financial Market in February 2008, the bank officially began operations in 2009 from two branches in Ajman. Strongly supported by the emirate’s government, which owns 25 per cent shares of the bank, it is headquartered in Ajman with branches and ATMs across the UAE.
