UDI has an important societal mission. It is about implementing the government's immigration and refugee policy. We provide protection to people who need it. We ensure that those who are entitled to it can bring their family to Norway. And we contribute to employers being able to get qualified foreign labour. Among other things. We must enforce the immigration regulations on behalf of Norwegian society. We must both ensure that people who have the right to live and stay in Norway can do so, while at the same time we must prevent abuse of the regulations that our political authorities have decided. We want to carry out our social mission in a correct and considerate way, with great awareness that there are people who are greatly affected by the work we do. UDI must also, based on knowledge and experience, contribute to developing policy and regulations. To fulfill our social mission, we need skilled and committed employees. If you find an exciting position with us that you are passionate about, you are most welcome to apply!
