Witherslack Group provide inspirational education and care to children and young people, resulting in life changing experiences and countless stories of success. At Witherslack Group we truly understand that having happy employees makes for happy environments for our young people, that’s why we really value feedback from all of our employees. One way we do this is through our regular engagement surveys, which ensure we are listening and making changes when needed. In our most recent survey, which was completed by 85% of our employees, ‘improving outcomes for young people is a top priority at my place of work’ was our highest scoring question at 8.9 (out of 10). This is something that we are really proud of, as making a difference to the lives of children and young people is at the centre of everything we do. The areas we have seen increases in scores are largely driven by improvements in how fairly people feel they are treated, how clear people are on what is expected of them, and how likely people are to recommend Witherslack Group to a friend or relative. Our overall score of 7.9 (out of 10) reflects the high number of talented and committed people we have across our Group, something we know is our greatest strength. This year we also asked what employees valued most about working at Witherslack Group and again we were pleased to see that so many reported felt our overall reward and benefits packages was strong. We always want to keep moving forward and so will continue to listen, adapt and improve to be the best employer we can possibly be.
