The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its members founded the U.S.-Colombia Business Council (USCBC) in 2017 to foster the strongest possible bilateral relationship between the United States and Colombia. The Chamber has long supported and worked with both governments to promote strong commercial and economic ties with Colombia as a foundation for this strategic partnership. In an effort to leverage these relationships, the USCBC continues to work closely with senior officials to advance cross-sector policy recommendations designed to foster economic growth that’s beneficial to businesses small and large in the U.S. and Colombia. Our mission is to foster a robust economic relationship between the U.S. and Colombia by exploring issues that hinder the commercial relationship and proposing solutions to them, advancing trade and investment opportunities for USCBC members, and supporting economic growth in Colombia and the United States, particularly through post-conflict initiatives.
