The new iteration of UCOR, a partnership of Amentum, Jacobs, and Honeywell, began under a new contract with the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management in May 2022. Under this and our previous contract (2011-2022), UCOR safely deactivates and demolishes former nuclear facilities. As the lead cleanup contractor for DOE’s Oak Ridge Reservation, we have earned a reputation for safe performance, innovative problem solving, and an unwavering focus on excellence. Our workforce of nearly 2,000 is committed to the mission of protecting the people, the community, and the environment while eliminating hazards and reducing risks. Our leadership team brings together individuals with vast experience in the engineering and environmental industries, including experience working in the DOE complex.
