About Step Up Tutoring
Our higher purpose at Step Up Tutoring is to close the education gap, compounded by the pandemic, and develop enduring bonds by offering free online tutoring and mentoring to support students in grades 3-6 from under-resourced backgrounds. Through our partnership with LAUSD and the help of our dedicated volunteers, we are now actively serving over 750 students in California. Yet, our mission to change students’ lives with our engaging, educational, and effective tutoring and positive mentoring approach has just started!
