The association JAG is a non-profit national association for people with several extensive disabilities, one of which relates to intellectual ability. JAG's members want to have the same civil rights and obligations as others in Sweden. Children should be able to grow up in their family and adults should have the opportunity to choose where and with whom they want to live. With personal assistance, we have the opportunity to live on our terms and take part in the community with family and friends. The association JAG works so that all members can have a good life through: .Equality, Assistance and Community (JAG).The best possible personally adapted assistance in all situations of life with respect for human dignity and integrity. . To live on their own terms in community with their family and live like others in society and get stimulating experiences and experiences in a safe way. .That physical and mental health is promoted in every way and that other interests are taken care of. I have a strong ideological anchoring that is rooted in the equal value of all people. Another stance that pervades the organization is the belief that all people have the will and ability to exercise self-determination, as long as they have access to the right communication aids and receive a response from those around them. A prerequisite for JAG's members to be able to achieve self-determination and participation is that those who need help in bringing their case must get it from their legal representative (parent/guardian for minors and good man or trustee for adults.
