The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, MIT, is the department of the Italian Government which has jurisdiction over the infrastructural networks (road, motorway, railway, port, airport) serving means of transport, and which expresses the general plan of transport and logistics, as well as sector plans for transport, including urban mobility plans.
