GOVT is an independent creative agency from Singapore that believes in creating advertising that doesn't feel like advertising, and that it can disrupt the industry with human capital as its main currency. Armed with 70 like-minded folks from diverse backgrounds, GOVT creates culturally relevant campaigns, from it's base in Tiong Bahru, with an international flavor, blurring the lines between traditional advertising, pop culture, data science, tech innovation, and consumer experience, for clients such as OCBC Bank, Sentosa, Netflix, Tiger Beer, National Gallery Singapore, SATS and NTUC Enterprises. Since it's inception in December 2012, the agency has gone on to become one of the most awarded independent agencies in Singapore, with its work regularly awarded at Effies, AdFest, Creative Circle Awards, Hall of Fame and Marketing. In 2016, GOVT was voted at the Institute of Advertising Singapore's Hall of Fame awards as Rebel Agency of The Year, and one of The Drum UK's Top 20 Creative Agencies in Singapore. Most recently, GOVT was also ranked 24th in Campaign-Brief Asia 2017's Hottest Agencies in Singapore. The agency was one of only 2 independent agencies to have been awarded this accolade. In 2018 and 2020, GOVT was voted by Campaign UK and TheNetworkOne as one of the World's Leading Independent Agencies.
