Medical Students Association of India is a non-government organization of, for and by medical students founded in October 2011. MSAI is India's first both nationally & internationally represented organization for medical students, adopted as the 100th member nation organization (NMO) to the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA) in 2012 in Accra, Ghana. MSAI-India is a registered society in New Delhi under the Societies Act and is dedicated to work for the welfare of medical students across the country and to enhance the healthcare in India. As an organization, MSAI strives to provide its members with numerous opportunities to become global health leaders of today and tomorrow. Ever since its inception, MSAI has spread its wings to the farthest corners of the country and continues to do so even today. We span over almost all states and union territories in India, as of today and have touched the lives of over 2,10,000 people in communities in India through our on-going activities. MSAI strives hard to give its members the opportunities and global exposure that is essential for the all-round development of a medical student. This is achieved by organizing various workshops, exchange programmes, campaigns and various projects and many other such activities. MSAI is an excellent platform for medical students to explore their passions, increase their knowledge and contribute towards the betterment of society while bettering themselves. The organisation is indeed, a treasure for the youth of today, who want to be leaders of global healthcare tomorrow.
